Joe's life verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" Joe has been in vocational ministry for 30 years. He is a graduate of California State University Long Beach (B.A. Psychology) and Talbot Theological Seminary at BIOLA University (M.Div Bible Exposition) . His passion in ministry is to open God’s Word and encourage God’s people verse by verse so that believing hearts become more like Jesus and seeking hearts find Him. Joe is married to his wife Tina, and has five daughters and a son.

Chris Gaschen

Chris’s life verse is Philippians 2:3-4 “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” He is a graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a business degree where he played soccer. He is actively working on his M. Div in Biblical Theology at Calvary Chapel University. His passion is to help individuals develop a Biblical worldview so that they submit themselves to the call and direction of Christ in all areas of life. Chris is married to his wife Tanna, and has five daughters.

John Jesberger

Pastor of Student Ministries

John's life Verse: Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world,[a] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." John will graduate from Great Northern University in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor's In Youth and Family Ministry. His passion is to come alongside parents, by teaching God's word to the students so that they will love God, glorify God, and love others, thus making committed disciples who will make disciples.

Liz's life verse is Philippians 3:8-9 " Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. ... that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith." Liz received her Bachelor's degree from Corban University, where she majored in education and studied music and biblical studies. Her ministry passion is to lead God's people into authentic, life-changing worship that exalts His Name and transforms hearts and minds. Liz and her husband, Filip, have been blessed with three sons and one daughter.

Mary Segalla

Director of Children's Ministry

Mary's life verse is Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Mary possesses a B.A. as well as a Masters in Education from Gonzaga University and has over 15 years of ministry and teaching experience with children. Her ministry passion is to ignite a passion in children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ through imparting Biblical substance, encased with the understanding of child development and vibrant and engaging educational practices. Mary is the mother of 10 children from around the world and Nana to 4.
